Thanks for everyone who attended the African Festival in December. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and raised $3000 from the proceeds. We would like to give special thanks to the organisers of the festival, the AABC and the African Council for selecting us as a recipient of the proceeds.
We would also like to say thankyou to Accenture who matched $1000 of the $3000 raised. Additionally we raised another $1000 from the sale of raffle tickets. We have recently drawn the raffle and the winners have been notified and are:
1st Prize - Martin Barhon - who won two hours in a Qantas simulator
2nd Prize - Bianca Heurel - who won a limited edition photographic print of the Simien mountains
3rd Prize - Peter Pugh - who won an overnight stay in a Sydney hotel
Thanks to everyone who entered the raffle as you have all helped us to help many Ethiopian children.
